The cache is a 50 cal ammo box painted in cammo colors. A roundtrip walk of less than 1.0 mile is required. It is only 50-100 feet from a trail.

This cache was originally placed as a temporary micro for the Second Annual Lacy Caching Event. Everyone seemed to enjoy the hunt so much, that I decided to make it a permanent cache. Those with sharp eyes will be rewarded with a Smiley Face.
The cache container is a 35mm canister. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN/PENCIL to sign log.

This cache is placed (with permission) at the new Hearthstone Lodge, a facility in Forsyth County dedicated to our Seniors. To commemorate this cache the staff of the County GIS Department took a group of Seniors out for their first geocaching expedition. They were able to find all *SIX* caches they tried and ended the day hiding this one. |
